Uganda: Gorillas and the Pre-historic Shoebill
Tour Summary:
This is going to be one heck of a tour. The Mountain Gorillas are iconic subjects of this locations and will be near the top of our target list, as well as the smart and clever Chimpanzees. This tour will also take advantage of some of east Africa's most stunning bird life. birds like Bar-tailed Trogon, Green-breasted Pitta, the sensational Black Bee-eater, and the gorgeous Abyssinian Ground Hornbill will hopefully be ripe for some photographic opportunities. Once we've had our fill of these "beta targets", we will of course turn our attention to the mightiest bird target in Uganda, the prehistoric Shoebill. Towering tall in the marshes, we'll take a boat ride through the wetlands, aiming to photograph this spectacular bird species.
